Overview
Our client, a large national real estate investment firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant with the ability to work independently and efficiently. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Compensation is $40 per hour. Location: Edison, New Jersey 08818. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience with month-end close, experience across multiple software platforms, and accounts payable and receivable within the general ledger.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial analyses and reports
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Input, maintain, and review financial data
- Update and review forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis
Required Experience/Skills
- Accounting experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Interdepartmental communication and relationship skills
- Strong Excel skills
- ERP systems experience
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Advanced Excel and Accounting Software experience
Education
Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
