Job Description

Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary

Formulate new business proposals, construct forecasts and valuations, assess merger and acquisition scenarios, and prepare materials related to the public and private issuance of stock. You will be engaged across all stages of the transaction process, including drafting sessions, new proposal development, and due diligence meetings.

Responsibilities

Advise on designing processes and systems that meet professional standards.
Identify and evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against criteria to find the best fit for business needs.
Utilize data from diverse sources to analyze key themes and identify potential business impacts.
Develop and amend investment models to inform senior colleagues and/or assist with portfolio management.
Coordinate short-term work plans for a team to meet expectations within established timelines.
Explore issues or needs, identifying potential causes, barriers, and related considerations.
May include duties such as supporting internal clients or helping senior colleagues manage internal client relationships.
Write and edit material for various target populations, adapting tone and content to meet audience expectations.
Develop and deliver financial guidelines and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance and sound financial practice.
Provide specialist guidance on interpreting and applying policies and procedures, resolve queries, and refer highly complex or contentious issues to others.
Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and delivering high-quality professional services to support business strategy and plans.
Develop personal capabilities through assessment and development planning activities, as well as formal and informal training and coaching; pursue external professional accreditation where relevant to enhance performance.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, conferences, and reading specialist media.
Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.
