As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will work with the portfolios of existing Schwab clients, delivering wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you will grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and client referrals. If you currently hold securities licenses, enjoy working in a team environment, and share our commitment to serving clients, this role will suit you well.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license is required.
- During your tenure you will need to obtain or be in the process of obtaining FINRA Series 66 (63/65) and Life & Health Insurance coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to build strong relationships, earn trust, and deepen client engagement by employing a focused client communication strategy that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Willingness to leverage Schwab specialists, adhere to Schwab advice guidelines, stay informed about market conditions, and motivate clients toward progress toward their goals.
- Openness to manage wealth on behalf of clients across Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking and Lending Management, Insurance and Risk Management, and Estate Planning.
- Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve.
- Passion for community engagement to discuss market conditions, sound investing principles, and tailored wealth strategies with clients.
- Desire to deliver an outstanding investor experience while advancing your own professional development in Wealth Management.
Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process.
