Job Purpose & Scope
This role drives new loan production and deposit growth, facilitates client development, and establishes new client relationships. It involves mentoring junior staff and partnering with leadership to optimize processes and implement competitive strategies. The position also fosters collaboration aligned with the OZK Way and the Commercial Bank Vision Statement.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and manage business relationships, understand client needs, and deliver appropriate financial solutions to address unique situations and resolve issues.
- Drive loan production and deposit growth by proactively identifying opportunities and cross-selling Bank products and services.
- Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processing and high client satisfaction.
- Represent the Bank in the community through active participation in professional organizations and events.
- Mentor team members, offering guidance on relationship development and credit fundamentals.
- Collaborate with Business Banking leadership to contribute to market strategy, portfolio performance, and competitive positioning.
- Engage in continuous portfolio optimization by regularly reviewing client performance, credit quality, and market conditions, while proactively managing risk exposure to ensure balanced growth, profitability, and regulatory compliance.
