Overview
Join J.P. Morgan's U.S. Private Bank as a Private Banker at the Vice President or Executive Director level. You will collaborate with families to build, preserve, and manage wealth, offering guidance across investments, financial planning, credit, and banking. You will work with a regional team and benefit from an institutional platform that provides resources and specialists to support your advisory work. Based in Oklahoma City, you will serve local clients while pursuing opportunities to grow your book of business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships by earning trust, understanding needs, delivering targeted guidance, crafting thoughtful solutions, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
- Drive business results by acquiring assets from both existing clients and new prospects.
- Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking needs.
- Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise when required.
- Link clients to the full range of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. offerings across lines of business.
- Ensure proposed solutions meet clients' short, medium, and long-term objectives through a holistic, goals-based planning approach.
- Strictly follow risk, regulatory, and security guidelines in all activities and solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Six or more years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses are required for the position; unlicensed candidates may be considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days of their start date.
- Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
- Strong community presence with an established local network.
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts.
- Focus on delivering an exceptional client experience and advocating on behalf of the client.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP preferred.
- Proactive, self-driven, and adept at critical thinking to solve problems.
- Dynamic and credible professional with clear communication and strong presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a disciplined, methodical approach to business.
- Experience with equity and fixed income markets and alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity, and real estate.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive total rewards package with base salary determined by the role, experience, skills, and location.
