U.S. Private Bank – Banker Professional - Associate

In the role of Banker Professional within the U.S. Private Bank, you will provide essential daily support to Client Advisors as they manage client relationships. You will collaborate with a team of professionals and other support groups, while handling the confidential nature of Private Banking clients with discretion.

Key responsibilities

• Support Client Advisors with Know-Your-Client documentation, process adherence, and suitability assessments and reporting.
• Assist in the account opening process and prepare internal materials to facilitate subsequent investments.
• Monitor client accounts and maintain basic client information management.
• Perform daily account administration tasks.
• Serve as the point of contact with Account Opening teams, Supervisory Management, Risk Management, and Investor Support teams.
• Coordinate with Operations and Client Service Specialist teams.
• Monitor exceptions and collaborate with Client Advisors to conduct scenario-based analyses; partner with the Team Leader to track risk metrics across the team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Series 7, Series 66, and Insurance licenses are required. Unlicensed candidates will be considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days of the start date.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• At least 1 year of industry-related experience.
• Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with JP Morgan Private Bank systems such as Workstation, Connect, DDR/KYC, or the ability to learn proprietary software.
• Experience and interest in financial markets and related concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
