Treasury Sales Associate - Technology and Disruptive Commerce

Job Description

Overview

Based in Boston, MA 02110, the Treasury Sales Associate supports Commercial Banking by driving new sales targets, managing client relationships, and pursuing portfolio growth. You will participate in a three-year development plan designed to progress through a sequence of roles to build the skills needed for a successful career within the firm and to pursue more senior positions within Treasury Solutions, such as a Treasury Management Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Treasury Management Officer (TMO) on client proposals to identify suitable Treasury solutions, perform cost and benefit analysis, establish competitive pricing, and run profitability models.
  • Assist with client call preparation by creating relationship review materials, pitch books, account plans, and conducting customer research.
  • Develop an understanding of each client’s Treasury cash management structure and objectives.
  • Coordinate with product partners to develop comprehensive Treasury solutions.
  • Develop and understand competitors’ products and positioning within the client and market.
  • Work with the TMOs throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and ensure services and pricing are set up timely and accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate pricing and billing.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three or more years of relevant banking and treasury experience
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Ability to understand Treasury Solutions products, pricing philosophy, and billing processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Aspiring to develop into an individual sales contributor

Preferred qualifications

  • Interest in working with experienced Treasury partners to recognize a client's cash flow needs and apply appropriate banking solutions
  • Sales, portfolio management or relationship management experience
  • Qualitative and quantitative skills

Compensation and benefits

Base salary is determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. Those in eligible roles may receive commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in cash and/or forfeitable equity, awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
