Staff Accountant

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with Excel expertise
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
• High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Background & Skills

• Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting software
• Experience supporting venue, events, or hospitality operations

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Post and reconcile journal entries for transactions and events
• Prepare event settlements, sales journals, and detailed profitability statements
• Perform analysis of accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist the Director of Finance with financial reporting needs
