Sr/Staff Accountant

Position Details

We are seeking a Senior or Staff Accountant for a direct-hire opportunity in Bakersfield, California 93309. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime. The salary range is $85,000 to $130,000 per year. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Conduct financial analyses to identify trends and variances.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional staff accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
