Role and responsibilities

As a Sr. Specialist, Service Associate within the Centralized Service & Operations group, you will join a client-facing inbound phone team supporting Schwab Wealth Advisory clients. This role enables you to grow your expertise while delivering outstanding and consistent service. Through mentorship, coaching, and ongoing training, you will build a solid foundation in wealth management, becoming a subject matter expert for clients by providing technical assistance and placing solicited trades. You will strengthen client relationships by addressing questions related to portfolio management, financial planning, and the markets and the economy. What you have

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license is required
• Active and valid FINRA 66 license is required (may be obtained with a 120-day COE)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry working directly with clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience servicing high-net-worth clients
• General understanding of brokerage regulations and the rules that govern client accounts
• Demonstrated experience handling client concerns and issues with tact and diplomacy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team, while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
• Ability to build and maintain good cross-department working relationships
