Overview
REGO-FIX Americas encompasses the United States, Mexico, and Brazil and operates as part of a global Swiss leader in precision tooling, renowned for the original ER collet system and for quality, reliability, and precision. The Americas region is led from its Whitestown, Indiana headquarters, with subsidiaries in Mexico and Brazil, supporting sales, technical services, and operations across aerospace, automotive, electronics, heavy equipment, and medical technology. The U.S. Center for Machining Excellence further enhances regional capabilities through application support, technical collaboration, and training.
Reporting and Collaboration
The position reports functionally to the Chief Financial Officer of REGO-FIX AG, the Swiss parent company, with a weekly cadence of policy discussions. It collaborates closely with the President of REGO-FIX Tooling Corp and the General Manager for Latin American Operations, with monthly reviews. On a day-to-day basis, it reports to the General Manager of RFUS and follows RFUS Employee Handbook policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy and Planning: support management in shaping and executing the organization's financial strategy aligned with long-term goals, provide financial insights for strategic decisions, and lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Financial Operations: oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for RFUS and LATAM, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), maintain standard operating procedures documenting policies and procedures with strong internal controls, and manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk.
- Leadership and Collaboration: lead and mentor the finance team, work with external PEO and internal staff to lead HR functions within RFUS, collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and capital allocation, act as a trusted advisor to the President RFUS, General Manager LATAM, the board, and other stakeholders, manage 2 to 3 direct reports within the Finance / HR Team, and oversee accounting firms conducting financial reporting in Brazil and Mexico.
- Risk Management: assess and manage financial risks, including investments, debt, and operational risks; maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness; oversee CPA review and audit preparation; develop policies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Fundraising and Capital Management: manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions; collaborate with the RFCH CFO to optimize capital structure and secure cost-effective access to capital.
- Strategic Reporting and Analysis: provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting to support organizational goals; monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend performance improvements; present financial updates to the board and stakeholders.
- LATAM: work with LATAM personnel to develop and pursue financial goals.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
Experience: 7+ years in senior financial leadership roles, ideally with exposure to operations in multiple countries; experience in the relevant industry is advantageous. Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis. Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills. Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial tools. Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is advantageous but not mandatory.
