Sr. Accountant - Interim

Overview

CV Resources is partnering with a Bellevue client to recruit a Senior Accountant for a contract opportunity lasting 6+ months. The role covers a leave and provides an immediate opportunity to contribute within a well established accounting team. This is a hybrid position based in Bellevue, WA, with three days on site and two days remote. The compensation range is $40.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and month-end adjustments
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate balance sheet account reconciliations
• Record and analyze revenue accruals to ensure timely and accurate recognition
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations in account balances
• Assist with audit requests and provide documentation for internal and external audits
• Prepare and file B&O tax filings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial statement preparation
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition and accrual accounting
• ERP system experience required, Sage Intacct is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Compensation and Location

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour. Work Location: In person with a hybrid schedule in Bellevue, WA 98015.
