Position Overview

Gentry Private Wealth is seeking a licensed Wealth Advisor with a strong drive to attract new clients and extend the firm’s footprint among high net worth and ultra high net worth households. This role suits an entrepreneurial advisor who thrives in a relationship driven, consultative setting and is motivated by long term growth, leadership opportunities, and potential succession planning. The Senior Wealth Advisor will focus on developing new relationships with C-suite executives, physicians, attorneys, business owners, and other high earning professionals, while leveraging Gentry’s planning, investment, and client service infrastructure to deliver a premier wealth management experience. Candidates may bring an existing book of business, but this is not required. The advisor will work with established firm clients and will receive support in both relationship management and future growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Growth: Serve as the primary rainmaker for the firm with a clear mandate to attract new assets and new client relationships. Develop and execute a proactive strategy to target high net worth individuals and families. Build and maintain robust referral networks with CPAs, attorneys, business brokers, private bankers, and similar professionals. Represent Gentry Private Wealth at community events, professional organizations, and client and prospect gatherings. Collaborate with the marketing and leadership teams to advance growth initiatives and enhance brand visibility.
  • Client Advisory & Relationship Management: Act as the lead advisor for new client relationships brought into the firm. Deliver comprehensive wealth management services including investment management, financial planning, tax-aware strategies, estate planning coordination, and business succession planning. Provide sophisticated planning solutions tailored to complex financial situations. Maintain strong, trusted client relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance.
  • Leadership & Firm Development: Demonstrate an ownership mindset by contributing to firm strategy, culture, and long term vision. Collaborate with operations, client service, and investment teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Potential to mentor junior advisors or participate in advisor development over time. Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and growth-oriented mindset. Strong personal presence and credibility with high net worth individuals. Proven ability to build trust quickly and sustain long term client relationships. Comfortable operating in a consultative, planning-first advisory model. Motivated by building something meaningful rather than simply managing a book.

Qualifications

  • Active securities and advisory licenses (Series 7 & 66, or 65) with CFP designation strongly preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience in wealth management, private wealth, or family office style advisory.
  • Proven success in new business development and asset gathering.
  • Experience serving high net worth clients, executives, professionals, and business owners.
  • Solid understanding of investment strategies, financial planning concepts, and tax efficient wealth management.
