Senior Operations Accountant – Occasional travel to Denver and Salt Lake City

Location: Omaha, NE 68127

Opportunity Overview

Join a nationally respected service business that is expanding its accounting team with a newly created, high impact role at the Omaha headquarters. The position will support the general managers of the Denver and Salt Lake City units, with occasional travel to those locations to strengthen relationships and trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process for two regional locations, including full responsibility for monthly close, reporting, and analytics
• Partner closely with General Managers to prepare for monthly financial reviews and support strong operational decision-making as their right-hand business partner
• Produce and analyze operational reporting, including job costing, labor trends, and overtime analysis
• Collaborate with leaders including the Controller and Director of Finance on model analysis, forecasting, acquisition projects, and system upgrades

The role offers a flexible and hybrid work schedule to support work-life balance, and you will have opportunities to visit the two business units in person as frequently as needed. Travel to Denver and Salt Lake City will be arranged as appropriate, with direct flight options from Omaha.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
