Position Summary
As the Senior Manager of Specialty FP and A, you will lead a team of three analysts and report to the Lead Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. This role supports the Specialty Pharmacy unit in budgeting, modeling, forecasting and variance analysis. Key areas under your responsibility include Pharmacy Pricing, M&A Reporting, Careplus planning and Client Profit Reporting. You will be a clear communicator who leads discussions and collaborates within a high performing team. Your work will span multiple departments to deliver on major enterprise initiatives and operational results, and you will foster a culture of innovation by encouraging new ideas and supporting the growth and development of team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Own critical inputs for the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts for the Specialty Pharmacy business
- Support the creation of monthly financial packages presented to senior management
- Develop margin analyses, projections, reports, and presentations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, ensuring data accuracy
- Identify trends in competitive environments and present findings to senior leadership
- Assist in shaping the annual operating budget and the yearly strategic plan
- Conduct special financial planning and analyses for projects of varying complexity, including metrics, process improvements, competitive assessments and investments
- Lead and develop the team, providing ongoing training and learning opportunities to sustain a high performance organization aligned with strategic goals
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting or a related function
- 3+ years of budgeting, forecasting and analytics experience
- Ability to travel up to 10 percent, including air travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmacy or Healthcare industry experience
- Working knowledge of SQL and Access
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong cross-team relationships and drive change
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is $82,940.00 to $182,549.00. This range reflects the base pay for positions within the applicable job grade and may vary based on experience, education, geography and other factors. The base salary may be eligible for CVS Health bonuses, commissions or short-term incentives in addition to the listed range. An equity award program target may also be included.
