Senior FP&A Analyst

Overview

Senior FP and A Analyst opportunity with a major manufacturing client located near the St. Louis, Illinois area. This role requires on-site presence with no remote option. Base compensation ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, plus a bonus potential of 10 to 12 percent. There is an upcoming development at this site, and I can share full details with you.

Responsibilities

• Drive accountability and create value through thorough variance analysis, leveraging a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and key business drivers
• Foster business partnering and clear communication between Operations and other support groups to improve operational and financial outcomes
• Support the annual operating plan, X plus Y forecasts, monthly updates, and the financial close process
• Develop business cases and financial analyses for capital appropriations and investments
• Prepare analyses and presentations for plant and executive leadership, offering proactive insights and commentary on results
• Lead continuous improvement through process enhancements and involvement in operations projects that drive efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or MS in Finance is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or another data/analysis field is preferred
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Experience with Oracle ERP, OneStream, Power BI, or Python is advantageous
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven, action-oriented mindset
• Ability to collaborate and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
• FPAC certification is a big plus

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
