Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a high-growth, private equity backed services organization in Atlanta. This hybrid role offers the chance to work directly with the CFO as a strategic partner, helping to shape and scale the FP&A function amid rapid growth and ongoing acquisition activity. The Analyst will be a pivotal contributor across FP&A, enabling informed decision making and enhancing financial visibility as the business expands. The position provides regular exposure to executive leadership and an opportunity to deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CFO on all FP&A activities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles
• Prepare financial reporting and variance analyses to guide business decisions
• Oversee and improve cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Develop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics across the organization
• Build and maintain financial models to support growth initiatives and scenario analysis
• Create and refine dashboard reporting using Power BI or similar tools
• Assist with M&A activities, including modeling, due diligence, and integration analysis
• Identify savings opportunities and drive operational efficiencies
• Lead FP&A process improvements and help scale the function's infrastructure
• Conduct ad hoc analyses for executive leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field required; MBA preferred
• 3–5+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience
• Prior experience in a private equity backed environment strongly preferred
• Experience in a multi-unit setting; healthcare industry experience a plus
• Advanced to expert level Excel modeling skills
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other BI tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Demonstrated career progression and job stability

Location and Compensation

Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30309. This opportunity is open to Atlanta-based candidates only.
