Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a minimum of three years of corporate accounting experience to join our growing finance team. The role is part of a well-established, multi-entity, global entertainment company and reports directly to the Assistant Controller. This is one of three senior accountant positions. The role is based in Irvine, California 92612 and is fully onsite at the headquarters near the airport. Compensation includes a salary of $90,000 to $105,000 per year, along with benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and paid vacation and sick time. Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, month-end close, journal entries, GL and account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• This role focuses on prepaids, accruals, balance sheet account reconciliations, sales tax, and inventory-related accounts.
• Perform account reconciliations and create reconciliations for new accounts as needed.
• Collaborate with the inventory manager on inventory-related accounting, including three-way matching.
• Prepare financial schedules, monthly and quarterly P&L analysis, and management reporting.
• Report directly to the Assistant Controller and support general and technical accounting functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Multi-entity and multi-location accounting experience is required.
• At least three years of corporate accounting experience, including exposure to the full general ledger and all balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Highly detailed, self-motivated, independent, capable of starting and finishing tasks, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Organized with strong prioritization and communication skills to ensure timely and accurate work.
• Experience in entertainment, restaurant, inventory, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage is a plus.
• NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
