Senior Accountant

RAM Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant on behalf of a growing skilled nursing operator that currently runs seven facilities and is expanding. The position is part of the corporate finance team, based in Lakewood, New Jersey, and focuses on financial reporting, supporting multi-site operations, and ensuring accurate and timely accounting across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements for multiple facilities
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support audits and regulatory financial reporting
• Monitor cash flow and intercompany transactions
• Collaborate with facility Administrators and corporate leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience (healthcare or SNF experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounting preferred
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills
