Senior Accountant

Location

Seattle, Washington, hybrid work arrangement

Compensation

Hourly rate: $40 to $55 per hour

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience (flexible for strong candidates)
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Willingness to support both accounting and accounts payable responsibilities
• Highly adaptable with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and monitor vendor payments to ensure contract compliance
• Perform month-end closing activities and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Support year-round audit activities
• Assist payroll functions and coordinate with Paylocity as needed
• Maintain accounts payable process
• Maintain receipts and disbursement reports, including spend centers
• Issue 1099s at year end
• Account for international subsidiaries
• Assist with various automation projects, including ERP and expense tools
• Contribute to various ad hoc analyses as required
