Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and support a broad range of client needs.
  • Conduct financial and operational investigations, including credit, foreign exchange, cash management, and trade services, ensuring prompt resolution and high client satisfaction.
  • Support the Banker in preparing relationship reviews and client portfolios.
  • Collaborate with Product Partners and Relationship Managers to execute Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, including timely origination, monitoring, renewals and completion across all product and marketing levels.
  • Manage credit originations, credit allocations, approvals, documentation, bookings, fee collections and renewals for Standby Letters of Credit; justify exceptions and coordinate credit allocation with Parent Account Management teams and Credit Risk Management.
  • Identify revenue opportunities, position relevant products with clients, monitor billing and service queries, and ensure correct mapping and marketing hierarchies in Citi Investment Strategies (CIS) to reflect revenues accurately.
  • Represent the banking coverage team in client meetings.
  • Assist with Banker activities in the absence of the Banker, including decision making and helping close transactions as needed.
  • Assess risk in business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by following applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
  • Credit skills/experience (e.g., financial accounting, commercial lending theories, industry awareness, loan structuring) preferred
  • Proven ability to learn and exert sound judgment
  • Client focused and results oriented
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven planning, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $98,960.00 - $148,440.00. In addition to base pay, Citi’s offerings may include discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards for eligible employees.
