Job Summary
The Regional Consultant, Special Services oversees a portfolio of institutional clients focused on custodial services, including management of benefit payments. This role collaborates with Institutional Advisors (IAs) and Philanthropic Consultants to provide specialized servicing guidance and solutions, supporting client growth and acquisition across corporate, ERISA, government, and nonprofit sectors. The Regional Consultant manages complex custody relationships, ensuring proactive service delivery and strong client management.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee a portfolio of clients receiving custodial services, including benefit payments.
- Collaborate with Institutional Advisors on new special servicing opportunities in corporate, ERISA, government, and nonprofit markets.
- Provide regional sales support and client advisory assistance, with travel as needed.
- Support client expansion by identifying and delivering solutions tailored to client needs.
- Deliver service and guidance related to both custody and benefit payments.
- Ensure accurate, superior, and proactive service delivery in line with governing documents, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Philanthropic Consultants to deliver special services, reporting, and solutions for nonprofit client acquisition and servicing.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate.
- Mentor other team members to enhance consulting and advisory capabilities.
- Conduct regular client reviews and solicit feedback to improve service delivery and identify new opportunities.
- Retain and expand client relationships through consultative engagement and proactive solutions.
- Ensure all client relationships are managed in compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret legal documents for client relationships and apply sound fiduciary judgment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in institutional banking, trust/custody administration, or investments.
- Experience managing complex custody relationships.
- Strong analytical, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and problem resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of custodial services and benefit payment processing.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Strong PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
