Overview

Bradsby Group offers an on-site opportunity in Boston, MA to lead and actively shape the development and execution of decarbonized energy projects. This role centers on greenfield natural gas-fired generation, hydrogen production, and carbon capture initiatives from early planning through project delivery, with collaboration across engineering, finance, energy management, external affairs, legal, and asset management teams. It is well suited for professionals with a minimum of three years in energy project development and a Bachelor's degree in engineering or business who thrive in cross-functional settings and are seeking growth within a collaborative, sustainability-focused organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of development for active projects
  • Negotiate required development agreements
  • Oversee the permitting process, proactively identifying and resolving issues as they arise
  • Build local community support and engagement for the project
  • Cultivate relationships and negotiate commercial agreements with potential project off-takers
  • Direct external consultants and coordinate with internal teams including engineering, finance, energy management or origination, external affairs, legal, and asset management
  • Handle administrative duties such as providing regular project updates to Management, budgeting, and internal compliance

Requirements

  • Three or more years of relevant experience in energy project development
  • Proven track record in successful development of energy related projects
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in engineering or business
  • Self-starter, well organized, and able to collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels
  • Strong financial acumen, including understanding of P&L, pro forma modeling, and NPV/IRR analysis
  • Knowledge of real estate and title matters
  • Ability to gather, organize, and systematically analyze complex information
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to move from concept to analytics and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent writing, communication, presentation, interpersonal, financial analysis, and organizational skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
