Part Time Financial Controller For Real Estate Investment Company

With a portfolio that includes more than 20 properties across 10 states, we are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Controller to bring structure, organization, and accuracy to our financial operations.

Role Overview

As the Financial Controller, you will oversee the company’s financial reporting and accounting processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and organization.

• Reviewing and tidying financial records
• Preparing monthly profit and loss statements and financial reports
• Managing bank reconciliations and overseeing transactions
• Monitoring cash flow across multiple entities and properties
• Assisting with deal-level financial tracking for wholesale, flips, and rentals
• Building simple financial dashboards and KPIs for leadership
• Supporting budgeting and financial forecasting
• Coordinating with bookkeepers and external accountants or CPAs
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems and processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial management
• Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred
• Real estate investment accounting experience is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow management
• Comfortable with accounting software and spreadsheets
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial data clearly
