We’re seeking a motivated Paraplanner to join our Newport Beach office and make an immediate impact in the Financial Planning Department. This position offers opportunities for both early career professionals and experienced paraplanners to deepen their expertise, take ownership of complex planning work, and collaborate closely with senior advisors.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with advisors to prepare comprehensive financial plans and client proposals
- Gather, organize, and analyze client financial data
- Create and refine financial plan reports using planning software (including eMoney)
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Coordinate with clients’ CPAs and attorneys to gather information
- Support client onboarding and ongoing planning updates
- Contribute to training and process improvement initiatives
- Focus areas handled by the Planning Team: cash flow and retirement income modeling
- Investment and portfolio analysis
- Estate and legacy planning strategies
- Tax-efficient wealth planning
- Integration of business and personal financial strategy

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field)
- 1 to 3 years of financial planning or related experience
- Series 7 and 66 securities registrations (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Must be appointed as a Registered Representative with Cetera Wealth Services, LLC within required timeframe
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to become an advanced user of financial planning software (eMoney experience preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Candidates must meet background check and fingerprinting requirements and comply with FINRA disclosure requirements, including Form U4 reporting obligations

Compensation
The expected pay range for this position is $2,725-$3,350 per semi-monthly pay period. Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
