About the Role
Fireside Wealth, a Private Wealth Advisory Practice of Ameriprise Financial, is seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our Lakeville, MN team. This is a long-term position with the potential to advance to Associate Financial Advisor within 3–5 years, set in a client-focused, values-driven environment with a collaborative culture and hybrid work options.
Your Profile
- Licensed (Series 7 and/or 66) are a plus but not required
- Experience in financial planning or client service within a wealth management or advisory practice
- Long-term Paraplanner role with potential to grow into an Associate Financial Advisor in 3–5 years
- Professional, approachable, and enjoys building relationships
- Meticulous with attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Excellent communicator—both verbal and written
- Strong cultural fit with a collaborative, supportive, client-first team (our “Kite”)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update financial plans and investment proposals
- Assist with client meeting preparation and follow-up actions
- Process investment trades and account service requests
- Research investment options and product solutions
- Maintain client records and documentation in CRM systems
- Support overall office operations and advisor workflow
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree or higher in a related field required
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with clients and team members
- Organizational: Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free work
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with standard office software and open to learning new tools
- Client-Focused Mindset: Passion for building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Competitive salary of $65,000–$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This is an exempt position.
