Manager, Finance (Lab)

Ignitech Solutions LLC is seeking a capable Manager, Finance (Lab) to oversee financial operations in a laboratory setting. This in person, full-time role is based in DeLand, FL 32721, with a salary range of $84,000.00 to $129,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month end close process and ensure journal entries are accurate
• Review business transactions to confirm GAAP compliance
• Prepare presentation ready decks for senior leadership
• Gather data, present findings, and explain variances in financial statements
• Analyze and evaluate performance to recommend improvements in operations
• Respond to requests for ad hoc financial and operational analysis
• Develop a deep understanding of user or customer needs and marshal resources to build solutions
• Lead and support complex, cross functional process improvement initiatives
• Ensure high quality analytical output
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (MAcc or CPA preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and adherence to financial reporting policies
• Solid accounting experience including review of month end close processes
• Experience and proficiency with financial systems
• Strong business process and data analysis skills
• Proficiency in report writing software (Tableau)
• Intermediate SQL query writing skills
• Understanding of relational database concepts
• Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• FP&A experience preferred

Required Skills

• Financial systems and reporting expertise
• Complex financial modeling including profitability, pricing, and operations
• Report writing software such as COGNOS or Crystal Reports
• SQL query writing at an intermediate level
• Relational database concepts
• Advanced MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong business process and data analysis
• Team management and delegation capabilities
• Presentation development for senior leadership

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills

• MBA, CPA, or MAcc certification
• Six Sigma experience and training

Experience and Education Context

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Industry Experience: Healthcare and laboratory services experience is beneficial given the DaVita Labs context
• Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
