JPMorgan Private Client Relationship Manager, Vice President- Los Angeles

Role Overview

We are seeking a Relationship Manager who excels at building and sustaining relationships with high net worth clients across banking, lending, and investment services. In this role, you will earn client trust, understand needs, offer targeted guidance, craft thoughtful solutions, and deliver an outstanding client experience. You will help clients explore the full range of financial possibilities that wealth enables and coordinate with partners across JPMorgan Chase to address the client’s complete financial picture. Working within a local team, you will collaborate with colleagues across lines of business, leveraging referral networks to connect clients with the firm’s capabilities. Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships while managing existing ones, delivering service that consistently exceeds expectations
• Identify opportunities to deepen primary banking, investments, and lending relationships; conduct in-person meetings with prospects and clients at their places of business or other external locations
• Network with referral sources and other centers of influence outside the office to generate banking and investment opportunities
• Build strong internal partnerships across lines of business to meet each client’s specific needs
• Ensure proposed solutions align with clients' short, medium, and long-term objectives through a holistic, goals-based planning approach
• Strictly follow risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Minimum five years of experience in financial services or service sales, with an established high net worth referral network and strong community presence
• Proven track record as a trusted relationship builder who delivers an exceptional client experience
• Demonstrated success driving sales growth by expanding relationships across multiple product lines and collaborating effectively in a team to provide client solutions
• Solid understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts
• Required Licenses: Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65). Unlicensed candidates may be considered, but licensing must be obtained within 150 days of the start date

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience developing relationships by addressing Home or Business lending needs

Regulatory and compliance information

Federal Deposit Insurance Act: This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. Employment offers are contingent on JPMorgan Chase’s review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries.

Location and reporting: The role is located in the Los Angeles, California area and will report in the office.

Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act: This position meets the qualification requirements for Loan Originators under Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act. Employment offers are contingent on review of criminal history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other information relevant to evaluating financial responsibility, character, and fitness. A felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies a candidate. Continued employment requires compliance with Truth in Lending Act and Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements.

National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and SAFE Act: This role requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act. Upon active employment, you must register on NMLS or update an existing registration to reflect JPMorgan Chase employment. Ongoing employment is contingent on compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration after your start date and timely annual renewals and updates.
