Corey Caron – Managing Director

Time with Northwestern Mutual: Since 2001. Background: Corey joined Northwestern Mutual in 2001 as a college intern while attending Western New England University. After earning his degree, he moved into a full-time Financial Advisor role and gained experience across Investment Compliance. Today he serves as Managing Director, focusing on recruiting, developing, and mentoring new Financial Advisors in the Downtown Springfield and Downtown Hartford offices.

Passionate About: Developing the next generation of financial professionals and nurturing a growth-driven culture within his offices. He resides in Suffield, CT with his wife, Erin, and their three children.

Kim Cavalieri – Financial Advisor

Time with Northwestern Mutual: Since 2008. Background: Kim began her Northwestern Mutual career in the fall of 2008 and quickly built a thriving practice. She has consistently been a top producer, recognized for high ethical standards. She is a 4 Under 40 recipient through NAIFA, a member of the Million Dollar Round Table for over a decade, and was named Female Advisor of the Year by her network office in 2020.

Passionate About: Originally from New England, Kim started her career in Western Massachusetts and returned to the region in 2013. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, photography, reading, and family time. She shares her life with her partner and has two dogs, Harley and Oliver, and a cat named Jack.

Danielle DeLorge – Growth & Development Director & Financial Advisor

Time with Northwestern Mutual: Since 2016. Background: Danielle began as a college intern in June 2016, advancing to a full-time role and becoming a key member of the leadership team.

Passionate About: Building lasting client relationships with empathy and integrity, she values time with her husband and their two golden retrievers, enjoys outdoor activities, family gatherings, and maintaining balance between professional success and meaningful personal connections.

Role and Responsibilities

As an Insurance Agent with Northwestern Mutual, you will contribute to helping individuals and businesses reach their financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and tailored financial planning. The position emphasizes building long-term client relationships, understanding unique needs, and delivering customized financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to identify financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.
  • Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive plans covering investments, insurance, and retirement strategies.
  • Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement strategies to protect clients' assets and income.
  • Ongoing Support: Monitor plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as life changes.
  • Networking: Grow a client base through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.

Qualifications and Licenses

  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or business development is beneficial but not required.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust with clients.
  • Licenses: Necessary licenses such as Series 6, Series 63, and state insurance licenses (training and sponsorship available).
