Job Description

Scope and Purpose

The primary responsibility of the Analyst role within Trade and Supply Chain Finance (T and SCF) on the Financial Institutions Desk is to support senior team members in closing, executing, managing, and monitoring SCF, TEF, and SEF transactions, as well as the desk’s broader functions. The role requires effective liaison with all team members across the New York Branch and the Head Office to help achieve the desk’s objectives in line with strategic goals. It also involves interaction with external counterparties and clients such as financial institutions, corporates, and other business counterparties.

Required Experience

  • 1-3 years in a similar role.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  • Handle SCF, TEF, and SEF proposals and quotations, monitor disbursements and settlements, and coordinate with Treasury and Back Office to ensure smooth processing of transactions.
  • Participate in bank or client meetings as needed.
  • Prepare reports for Senior Management and/or Head Office and/or branches/subsidiaries of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group's network as required.
  • Produce Price Range simulations to support deal flow and for the preparation of notes and credit proposals.
  • Support in preparing Product Notes needed for proposals requesting the necessary credit limits for SCF/SEF/TEF activities.
  • Prepare internal and external pitches and reports (including profitability and utilization reports) as required to support SCF/TEF/SEF origination, reporting, monitoring, and general management activities.
  • Stay current with developments in trade and supply chain finance and the broader banking market.
  • Product knowledge: General understanding of international business, its products, and practices.
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Business, International Economics, or International Relations, or equivalent International Banking experience.

Salary

The salary range for this position is 70k - 100k $.
