Job Description
A corporate and investment bank Finance and Business Management role supporting the Fixed Income Financing trading desk, with a dedicated focus on liquidity and balance sheet management. The position centers on delivering financial analysis to help the desk optimize its liquidity footprint in a fast-paced setting. You will join a truly global team and contribute to the broader Finance organization and the Fixed Income Financing business. As an Associate in Corporate & Investment Bank Finance & Business Management, you will act as a key partner to the business to inform strategic resource decisions. Additional opportunities include collaborating across CIB Treasury, Corporate Treasury, Technology, Operations, and other Finance & Business Management teams to drive significant firmwide and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Assist in producing monthly and quarterly Liquidity PnL reports and the drivers behind them, working closely with the CIB Treasury group.
- Support the development and implementation of Treasury funding policy for the business.
- Deliver detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, senior finance management, and other key stakeholders.
- Enhance the existing monthly financial and reporting MIS used across the organization.
- Partner with the business to drive robust controls and new initiatives leveraging new technology.
- Coordinate across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with all Lines of Business across Markets on balance sheet and net funding allocations.
- Handle a variety of ad hoc requests on a regular basis.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related area.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA) and experience with other Finance systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail and a solid control mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Demonstrated experience with process improvements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong team player who can also work independently when needed.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while pursuing process enhancements.
- Solid understanding of financial products such as repos, swaps, futures, and bonds in a trading environment.
- Some background in a controller role (product control or financial control) is advantageous.
- Experience with Liquidity and/or Balance Sheet activities is desirable.
