FP&A Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analyses and deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide weekly financial and operational analysis for a manufacturing plant, including volume forecasts, margin forecasts, P&L results, and budget-to-actual comparisons.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses and budgeting tasks as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to build models and analyze financial data.
• Monitor margins and generate P&L statements, ensuring alignment with budgets and forecasts.
• Deliver ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required.
• Maintain accountability for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Work fully onsite at the client’s location in Columbus, OH, with potential hybrid flexibility based on performance.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret P&L statements and margins in relation to financial planning.
• Exceptional analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Engagement Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43215.
• Estimated duration: a few months, with possibility for extensions or conversion.
• Work arrangement: 100% onsite at the client’s location, with potential flexibility for hybrid arrangements over time.
