Guardian Kansas City seeks a motivated Associate Financial Specialist to join our expanding team in Overland Park. In this role, you will partner with individuals and families to design personalized financial strategies aimed at growing, protecting, and preserving wealth. You will provide comprehensive guidance across investment planning, insurance solutions, and retirement strategies, empowering clients to achieve meaningful, long-term financial success.
Responsibilities
- Full-time, hybrid position based in Overland Park with flexible partial remote work options
- As an Associate Financial Advisor with The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, you will drive growth by delivering comprehensive financial plans, implementing investment solutions, and advising on tailored insurance and retirement strategies
- Focus on building strong client relationships, expanding your client base, and achieving defined production and revenue targets while delivering exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of financial and retirement planning principles
- Working knowledge of insurance and investment products and strategies
- Experience in finance or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline, or a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience
