Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Financial Planning Associate to support Wealth Advisors in developing detailed financial projections for clients and prospective clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, the ability to work independently, and anticipate the needs of Wealth Advisors to respond promptly. This role joins an established wealth management and institutional advisory team, delivering independent advice and tailored service. Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and synthesize personal and financial information from clients
- Construct financial and retirement projections using Money Guide Pro
- Assist Wealth Advisors in analyzing estate plans, retirement plans, tax planning, and insurance needs
- Participate in client meetings and support Wealth Advisors in capturing requests through meeting notes and delivering follow-up planning strategies
- Create deliverables for client engagements
- Coordinate planning recommendations and implementation with outside professionals
- Continuously monitor clients’ financial situations with meticulous accuracy using CRM and other technology tools
- Be available to field ad-hoc planning questions from clients
- Conduct research projects on recent developments in the wealth management industry
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Ability to obtain financial services licensing (Series 65/66)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, CFP® track, or intent to obtain within 1–2 years of hire
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Four-year college degree in business, preferably with emphasis in Finance or Accounting

- Confident when engaging with clients and Wealth Advisors
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Money Guide Pro, Charles Schwab custodial platform, and Redtail CRM a plus
