Cornerstone Wealth Management is seeking a seasoned Financial Planning Advisor to join our Greenville, SC team. Key Responsibilities
- Build comprehensive financial plans for clients and prospects.
- Provide exceptional client service via phone, in-office visits, and other communications.
- Manage calendars, coordinate with the investment team on strategy meetings, and prepare for planning sessions.
- Serve as a leader for the financial planning team, offering guidance on cases while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Operate effectively in a fast‑paced, innovative environment with minimal supervision.
- Engage with high net worth clients to keep retirement plans on track; meet with clients in‑person or via Zoom as needed.
- Develop financial reporting models to evaluate performance and inform investment strategies.
- Listen to client needs and respond promptly and professionally on behalf of the team via calls, emails, and mail.
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving, detail orientation, and strong time management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Series 65 or 66 with Life & Health Licenses
- 3–7 years of experience in financial services offering investment management and insurance services
- Solid understanding of reporting and financial plan construction
- CFP strongly desired but not mandatory if willing to pursue the designation while employed
- Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to quickly learn new software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Proactive mindset, positive attitude, and consistent follow-through
- High intelligence, strong organization, and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with effective time management and critical thinking

Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience with Salesforce CRM software
- 2+ years in a fast-paced office environment
Compensation, Benefits & Schedule
- Commitment: 38 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with a daily lunch and some flexibility around start time
- Starting salary: $70,000 to $95,000 (higher end for CFP)
- Bonus opportunities based on performance metrics discussed with the selected candidate
