Position Overview
Florence County Human Services Department is seeking a Financial Manager to oversee the fiscal operations of programs serving children, families, and vulnerable adults in the Florence community. This leadership role is responsible for managing the department's budget, financial reporting, grant compliance, and coordination with county and state fiscal requirements. The Financial Manager collaborates with department leadership and the County Finance Office to ensure responsible stewardship of public funds and compliance with Wisconsin human services funding regulations. Location: Florence, WI 54121.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the fiscal operations for programs serving children, families, and vulnerable adults.
- Manage the department's budget, financial reporting, and grant compliance.
- Coordinate with county and state fiscal requirements to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with department leadership and the County Finance Office to ensure responsible stewardship of public funds and adherence to Wisconsin human services funding regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in governmental accounting, budgeting, or grant management preferred.
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Public sector or human services fiscal experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
