Financial Controller

Overview

Stewart Restaurant Group, LLC is seeking a results-driven Financial Controller to join our on-site team in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This regular full-time, on-site role requires relocation to the area and cannot be performed remotely. The position offers a salary range of $85,000 to $125,000 per year, along with competitive benefits. Key Responsibilities

• Support the CFO by planning and directing accounting operations
• Lead the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements
• Prepare financial reports and perform analyses
• Manage cash flow and liquidity
• Conduct account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported
• Maintain and optimize financial reporting systems
• Manage the work and development of accounting staff

Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
• Experience with hiring, developing and training employees in the accounting department
• Research, plan and implement Accounting Department initiatives including software and system implementation or companywide improvement as needed
• Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
• Deep understanding of Accounting Principles, GAAP
• Work closely with senior management as well as managers on accounting related items
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills with efficient time management
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
