Overview

The Branch Network unit focuses on providing Wealth Management to individuals and families to meet their financial needs. In partnership with the Senior Financial Consultant, the Financial Consultant Partner helps grow and manage an affluent wealth management practice, including servicing clients, expanding relationships, and delivering guidance to the Sr FC's practice clients. The Financial Consultant Partner contributes to practice growth by collaborating with the Sr FC on business development opportunities. In this role, you are a trusted partner to the Sr Financial Consultants and their clients, deepening relationships, identifying opportunities, and learning from the Sr FC while delivering exceptional service and advice. What you have

  • A valid and active Series 7 license is required; licensure may be obtained as a condition of employment through the Branch Network Licensing Program.
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required; licenses may be obtained as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to identify opportunities for new relationship development
  • Willingness to build, refresh, and deliver financial plans for practice clients in partnership with the Sr Financial Consultant(s)
  • Ability to uncover client needs and manage expectations accordingly
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining cross-enterprise relationships
  • Capability to become a Notary
  • Experience updating and compiling client information through Schwab’s internal CRM tool
  • Openness to manage local events as needed

Compensation and prerequisites

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.

Compliance and registration

Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to complete the SAFE Act background check and registration process.
