Position Purpose
The role acts as a liaison between Finance and key business functions to provide effective operational and financial support while actively participating in running the business. Responsibilities include coordinating the budgeting process, performing closings, variance analysis, and reporting; ensuring information system integrity; monitoring and improving procedures; and communicating issues to Senior Management in a timely manner. The position also ensures external, corporate, and internal obligations are met and works to safeguard the company’s assets. This is a hybrid role that requires three days per week in our Stratham, NH corporate office.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Budget and Latest Estimate Process
- Coordinate the Annual and Latest Estimate budgeting process with the wholesale division and Finance, ensuring targets and timelines are met.
- Consolidate all financial information; analyze results, and present financials to key business partners.
- Demonstrate shared ownership in partnership with the Retail division to comply with, meet or exceed budgetary commitments.
Internal & External Reporting and Analysis
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of reports that will provide the wholesale division with meaningful information required to make decisions and effectively run the business.
- Lead the month/year-end closing processes for the wholesale division, performing P&L variance analysis, and completing required schedules.
- Complete and publish the monthly financial package specific to the different stakeholders and review key financial metrics like Net Sales, Discounts, Profitability, Comparable Store Growth, Average Transactions and Average Order Value.
- Conduct monthly cost center reviews with the Retail team to communicate year to date results and gain business insights.
Business Systems Development
- Partner with IT department to initiate, develop and implement key operating systems, procedures and processes for business groups, as required.
- Develop executive summaries and relevant reporting for senior management; make well thought out recommendations based on review and analysis.
- Actively participate in developing business systems which will provide management with improved tools for managing the business.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
- 3-5 years financial experience in a CPG environment
- Expert in Excel and proficient in PowerPoint and Word
- Must have solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Proven understanding of processes & procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and advise assigned business groups to achieve desired results
- Strong presentation skills
Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS software and an ERP system (preferably SAP)
Education
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in related field preferred
Total Rewards
Compensation Range: $79,722.00 - $103,670.00

Lindt USA’s salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
