Summary

The Financial Analyst partners with the Controller to manage daily accounting operations, deliver financial reporting, and support month-end close activities. The role evaluates financial data, assists with regulatory reporting, and contributes to ad hoc projects while expanding skills in data analytics and reporting tools. Key Responsibilities

Assist the Controller with day-to-day accounting and financial operations
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes
Prepare, review, and reconcile financial reports and schedules
Assist with regulatory and internal financial reporting as needed
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights
Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to learn and develop reporting tools and dashboards
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Foundational knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn data analytics and report writing
Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-starter who works well independently

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
