Financial Advisor Apprentice is an 18-month residency and financial planning career path located in Morristown, NJ (in person). Target total compensation ranges from $75,000 to $110,000, combining base pay, performance bonuses, and a growth share.

Program Focus and Mission

This intensive residency is designed to transform ambitious candidates into world-class Wealth Planners. It requires a proactive, hands-on approach rather than routine tasks. You will be assigned a client flock whose financial lives you steward. Your Year One Objectives

• Master the Flock: internalize every member of your assigned client group—their goals, history, and gaps.
• The Planning Engine: become proficient in eMoney, Holistiplan, and our proprietary tools and "Choice Architecture" to craft recommendations that truly impact lives.
• Efficient Execution: dedicate time to mastering our internal systems and scripts so you are fully efficient and impactful during the day.
• Collaborative Hive: work within a team that supports stewardship of peers, clients, and the firm.

Ideal Candidate

We prefer candidates with their Series 7 and 66, but we will sponsor licensing for the right high-achiever. The hard deadline requires full licensing (Series 7, 66/63/65, and Life/Health) by September 30, 2026. The residency program begins June 8, 2026.

• You prefer working in isolation rather than in a high-accountability, group-coaching environment.

Compensation and Growth

The program starts with a compensation package of $75,000 to $110,000, with those who perform well reaching $110,000+ in Year 1. Base salary is $55,000. Controllable bonuses are awarded quarterly and monthly based on hitting technical and cultural milestones, up to 30-50% of the base salary. You also participate in profit sharing tied to the growth of your flock.

Career Path and Progression

Successful completion of the residency leads to a Junior Planner promotion within 12 to 18 months, with a clearly defined path toward Senior Planner and additional advancement opportunities.
