What You’ll Lead
- Accounting & Finance (US GAAP)
- Own general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management
- Lead month-end and year-end closes
- Prepare financials, dashboards, and variance analyses
- Manage job costing, WIP schedules, and construction accounting
- Drive automation, improvements, and internal controls
- Support payroll, benefits, and annual renewals
- Office & People Operations
- Oversee office workflows, vendors, travel, and administrative operations
- Partner with leadership on onboarding, training tracking, performance, incentives, and events
- Support bids, pricing worksheets, RFIs, invoicing, and job tracking
- Maintain organized, compliant project documentation
- Coordinate field-office communication and equipment/yard tracking
- Leadership & Execution (Integrator Role)
- Turn strategy into action; translate goals into plans
- Lead, manage, and hold teams accountable
- Remove obstacles and maintain healthy cross-functional tension
- Ensure alignment, prioritization, and on-time delivery
- Compliance & Special Projects
- Maintain internal controls and audit readiness
- Oversee vendor compliance, COIs, insurance
- Lead special projects focused on growth, systems, and profitability
What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years leading accounting (8+ years preferred)
- Strong command of US GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close
- Advanced QuickBooks Desktop & Excel skills
- Experience leading people and driving cross-functional accountability
- Exceptionally organized and proactive
- Bonus: CPA, construction experience, HR/benefits exposure
