Finance Manager (Strategic & Systems-Focused)

Job Summary

We are a growing organization seeking a hands-on Finance Manager who can oversee daily accounting operations and develop forward-looking financial models to guide business decisions. The role calls for a modern, tech-enabled approach to finance, with strong Excel proficiency, data structuring, and process automation.

Core Responsibilities

• Accounting Ownership
  • Own QuickBooks and chart of accounts
  • Manage monthly close (accurate and on time)
  • Ensure proper expense categorization (marketing vs sales vs G&A)
  • Maintain clean, reliable P&L
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting
  • Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and scenario models
  • Understand revenue drivers (earned vs advanced)
  • Analyze marketing ROI and business performance
  • Provide forward-looking insights for leadership
• Systems & Data
  • Structure data from multiple systems (ERP, spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Reduce manual processes and improve workflows
  • Support dashboard reporting (Excel / Power BI)
  • Create scalable data structures
• Business Partnership
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Partner with leadership on decision-making
  • Proactively identify issues and opportunities

Required Skills

• Purely large corporate background without build experience

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
