    How long with NM? Over 25 years, including 13 as Managing Director. Prior experience with NM spans much of his adult life beyond college. Passionate about serving people, working with numbers, and time with his wife Keri and their four teenage children. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and the 43-acre family property.

  • Kinsey Meyer - Development Director

    How long with NM? Over 6 years. Prior experience includes Iowa State University graduate with a retail clothing background and founder of Miss Meyer’s Clothing Consignment. Passionate about staying active with running, biking, and hiking with her Corgi, Cash; values family and building relationships.

  • Lexie Meyer - Financial Advisor

    How long with NM? Since April 2021. Prior experience in agriculture assisting dairy farmers with herd record management. Passionate about time with family, farm life, trail rides, summers on the Mississippi River, fitness, and reading fiction.

  • Dusty Jentz - Financial Advisor

    How long with NM? Since May 2016, with experience in four offices (Ames, Des Moines, Minneapolis, and Dubuque). Prior to NM, he grew up on a family farm and was an athlete. Passionate about family time, farm work, disc golf, and following high level sports, especially Cowboys football.

  • Jacob Kluesner - Financial Advisor

    How long with NM? Interned in August 2016 and became full-time in January 2018. Previous experience includes engineering at John Deere and serving as a finance manager at a car dealership before joining NM full-time. Passionate about family, time with loved ones, and outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and camping; he follows college and professional sports and has an interest in cars, particularly trucks and sports cars.

Role Details

As a Financial Representative, you will join a team dedicated to helping individuals and businesses reach their financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and financial planning. The role focuses on building long term client relationships and delivering tailored financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.
  • Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive plans that incorporate investments, insurance, and retirement.
  • Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement strategies to protect clients’ assets and income.
  • Ongoing Support: Monitor plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.
  • Networking: Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.

Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or business development is beneficial but not required.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust with clients.
  • Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses such as Series 6, 63, and state insurance licenses (training and sponsorship available).
