Overview

Healthcare Realty (NYSE: HR) is seeking a Director of Corporate Finance for its Nashville headquarters (Nashville, TN 37203). The role provides analytical and strategic support to the First Vice President of Corporate Finance and the Chief Financial Officer. Core duties include updating and refining the corporate model, delivering ad hoc financial analyses, and preparing Board materials and monthly presentations, along with other ad hoc analyses. The position will also support Capital Markets and Investor Relations. This is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience with REITs, real estate, corporate finance, and publicly traded companies.

Key Responsibilities

Update and enhance the corporate financial model and related analyses
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses as needed
Develop Board materials and monthly presentations
Contribute to additional ad hoc analyses across the organization
Support activities within Capital Markets and Investor Relations

Qualifications and Skills

Self-motivated with a strong financial background and proven expertise in financial modeling and presentation preparation
Advanced financial modeling skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or investment analysis
Deep understanding of REIT and real estate financial metrics, public company reporting requirements, and capital markets
Experience preparing Board and investor-facing materials
Knowledge of valuation, cost of capital, risk and return trade-offs, and GAAP accounting concepts
Ability to produce in-depth peer company research
Interest and aptitude for utilizing technology-enabled analytical tools
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Education and Experience

5+ years of experience in investment banking, Corporate FP&A, or similar roles
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field
MBA, CPA, and/or CFA designation is a plus
