Credit Manager

Overview

Quality Staffing, through its Goddard Mason Executive Search division, presents a Credit Manager opportunity with a Dalton, Georgia based wholesale flooring client. The role emphasizes solid credit decisions, preserving cash flow, and supporting a thriving business. The position operates during standard daytime hours, Monday through Friday, and starts directly with our client. Depending on experience and ability, the annual salary ranges from $55,000 to $75,000. The team focuses on reliable delivery, quality control, and building strong retail relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assess the creditworthiness of existing customers and prospects using financial analysis and credit reports to determine appropriate credit limits.
• Monitor receivables, aging reports, and collections while managing exposure to minimize risk.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and leadership to support growth while controlling risk.
• Maintain accurate credit files and reporting for leadership.
• Create and continually improve credit policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Resolve billing disputes and contribute to improving overall cash flow.
• Provide insights and recommendations that help leadership make informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in credit and collections.
• Strong preference for a background in the flooring industry.
• ERP system experience required; AS400 experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional, proactive, and a solutions-focused mindset.
