Job Overview

The Credit & Collections Assistant Manager role is based in Warroad, Minnesota 56763. The position provides financial, administrative, and clerical support, including processing credit applications, assisting with collections for dealer accounts, and handling various special projects.

Highlights of the Role

  • Process new customer applications with credit limits, subject to leadership’s final approval.
  • Assess and monitor existing customer accounts, including periodic written financial reviews for high-volume or high-risk customers to control risk.
  • Support the collection of outstanding balances and manage escalations with customers and sales representatives as needed.
  • Oversee the team responsible for securing payment of outstanding receivables; assist with account adjustments, write-offs, reconciliations, invoicing, and credit memos.
  • Handle other special projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Organized with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Motivated with a drive for process improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree in accounting preferred.
  • Minimum six years of relevant experience in credit and collections, accounts receivable, or related field required.
