Overview

Join the expanding finance team as a Credit Analyst responsible for evaluating the financial health of loan applicants, preparing analytical reports, making credit decisions, and recommending credit limits to customers. The role pays from $25 to $27 per hour and is based at 2200 S. Lakeside Drive, Waukegan, IL 60085.

Responsibilities

Conduct various analyses, including thorough reviews of financial statements and the preparation of reports.
Identify signs of potential fraud to verify account validity and safeguard company assets.
Process a high volume of credit reviews for orders and respond to 30+ incoming calls per day.
Meet daily release deadlines to ensure customer orders are processed in a timely manner.
Set and adjust credit limits based on customer requests and past payment experience.
Reach out to customers with past-due balances to assess cash flow status.
Manage email communications with customers and internal departments.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
2+ years of experience in customer service, credit, collections or a call center environment is a plus.
Bilingual in English, Spanish or French is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
