Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Elmira Heights, NY 14903. The Corporate Financial Controller will lead the Accounting Department and report to the CEO as a member of the Management Team. The role encompasses producing monthly and year-end financial statements, managing cash flow, developing budgets and forecasts, and supervising payroll, cost accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. The successful candidate will prepare schedules for the year-end audit conducted by an external accounting firm and actively contribute to the company’s profitability through strategic financial leadership.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate monthly and year-end financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to support strategic decisions.
- Supervise payroll, cost accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
- Prepare schedules for the year-end audit conducted by an external accounting firm.
- Join the Management Team and provide financial insight to enhance profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in preparing and managing financial statements and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and solid finance knowledge.
- Experience with accounting practices and principles.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to interpret financial data.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced proficiency in financial software.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
Salary
Starting salary is $150,000, based on experience, plus a year-end profit bonus.
