Program Overview

Join JPMorgan Chase’s Commercial & Specialized Industries (C&SI) group, serving companies with annual revenue from $20 million to $2 billion, as well as municipalities and not-for-profits. The team offers a blend of traditional banking and investment banking products, delivering tailored solutions through a nationwide network and global resources. As an Analyst, you’ll participate in a 2.5-year program that provides hands-on exposure across banking, treasury, and underwriting, complemented by strategic project work. The program is designed to build your financial and client-facing capabilities to advance a career in financial services. About Asset Based Lending (ABL)

Asset Based Lending (ABL) furnishes asset-backed loans to a broad range of companies, particularly those with asset-rich balance sheets and working capital needs. ABL supports clients across industries including Consumer & Retail, Industrials, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, and Tech/Media/Telecom, among others. It delivers comprehensive services such as originations, syndications, portfolio management, collateral monitoring, and loan servicing for both syndicated and sole-lender transactions. An ABL analyst gains experience in credit underwriting, financial modeling, and client engagement, while assisting in negotiating legal documentation and developing marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine financial models to support financing transactions.
• Assist in completing credit approval memos.
• Prepare marketing materials for client meetings, covering financing options, working capital optimization, and industry analysis.
• Learn to identify treasury product solutions to support clients’ long-term planning.
• Gain an understanding of the full range of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings.
• Conduct client and prospect research to support business development efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a Graduation Date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• If pursuing a master’s degree, it must be completed within two years of receiving your bachelor’s degree and with a Graduation Date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Candidates must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework in business, finance, or accounting is a plus.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale is preferred.

Commercial Banking focuses on helping clients succeed and contributing positively to communities. The team provides credit and financing, treasury and payment services, international banking, and real estate services to clients including corporations, municipalities, institutions, real estate investors and owners, and nonprofit organizations. The Commercial & Specialized Industries (C&SI) teams deliver credit, cash management, capital markets, and corporate finance advisory solutions to corporations, municipalities, and other clients.
